- פדא (פנדא)
- פַּדָּא(פַּנְדָּא) m. (= פדעא; פְּדַע; cmp. פָּדוֹעָא) 1) פ׳ דמרא blade of the hoe (v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Ascia); (comment. the club, handle of the hoe). 2) blow, wound. B. Kam.27b שקל פ׳ דמ׳וכ׳ Ar. a. Ms. H. (ed. פנ׳) he took a hoe and struck him.Pl. (פַּנְדֵּי) פַּדֵּי. Ib. מאה פ׳ בפדאוכ׳ he ought to have given him a hundred blows with the hoe.
